Every Muslim believes that Allah sent messengers and prophets to guide humanity. This belief is not a small branch of Islam. It is one of the pillars of īmān. To believe in Allah properly includes believing that He did not leave humanity in darkness. He sent guidance through chosen servants who called people to worship Him alone. The prophets were not sent to build personal kingdoms or gather followers for themselves. Their message was always centred on Allah: worship Allah, fear Allah, obey Allah, repent to Allah, and prepare to return to Allah. Their people changed, their languages changed and their circumstances changed, but the heart of the message remained the same. The Qur’an names twenty-five prophets. Some are mentioned in long and detailed stories. Others are mentioned briefly, yet every mention is full of honour and guidance. The Muslim does not divide between them in belief. We love them all, respect them all, and believe that they were truthful servants of Allah. For the modern reader, the stories of the prophets are not distant history. They speak to our age with great power. We live in a time of distraction, doubt, public shamelessness, family breakdown, spiritual weakness, greed, oppression, anxiety and confusion. The prophets show us how to stand with Allah in every kind of test. 4 Ādam السالمعليه teaches us that dignity comes with worship and that repentance is the way back after mistakes. Nūḥ teaches patience when people refuse guidance. Ibrāhīm teaches sacrifice and pure tawḥīd. Yūsuf السالمعليه السالم السالمعليهعليه teaches purity in temptation and forgiveness after betrayal. Mūsā السالمteaches courage against tyranny. Muḥammad ﷺ teaches the complete path of mercy, worship, truth and beautiful character. عليه This book is therefore not only about learning who the prophets were. It is about asking who we are becoming. Are we people of tawḥīd or people attached to false objects of hope? Are we people of repentance or people who justify our sins? Are we people of patience or people who give up quickly? Are we followers of the final Messenger ﷺ in daily life or only in claim? The aim of this book is to take the reader on a journey through the prophets mentioned in the Qur’an, with simple language and deep reflection. Each chapter should be read as a reminder, not as a mere biography. The real success of the book is not that the reader finishes it, but that the reader changes after reading it. May Allah make us people who believe in all His prophets, love them, learn from them, and follow the final Messenger Muḥammad .until we return to our Lord ﷺ
