What cookies are
Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. We use them to keep you signed in, to remember your cookie choice, and — only if you agree — to understand which parts of the site people actually use.
They fall into three groups, and those are exactly the three you can switch on and off below: essential, analytics, and marketing.
Essential cookies
These are always on. Without them you could not sign in or stay signed in, so there is no option to disable them.
- Signing inKeeps you logged in as you move between pages, and signs you out when you ask.
- SecurityProtects forms and requests from being submitted by someone else on your behalf.
- Your cookie choiceRemembers what you chose here, so we do not ask again on every page. Stored for 12 months.
Analytics cookies
These only run if you accept them. They tell us which pages get used, which courses people look at, and where visitors arrive from — so we can fix what is not working and build more of what is.
- Google AnalyticsPage views, how long people stay, and which links they follow.
- Google Tag ManagerLoads the tags above, once you have agreed to them.
Marketing cookies
Also off unless you accept them. These measure whether our advertising reaches people who go on to study with us.
- Meta PixelTells us which ads led to an enrolment, so we stop paying for the ones that do not.
Declining analytics or marketing changes nothing about your access. Every course, book and tool works exactly the same.
Your choices
Change what you accept whenever you like — there is no penalty for turning analytics off, and no need to tell us why.
You can also clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Chrome, Firefox, Safari and Edge each have their own controls, and those override anything set here. Blocking essential cookies will sign you out and keep you signed out.
