How we handle your information
You trust us with your details so you can study here. This page explains what we collect, why we need it, and what you can ask us to change or delete — in plain language, without the legal padding.

What we collect
Two kinds of information: what you give us, and what your browser sends automatically.
What you give us
Your name, email address, country, and any phone number you add — the details needed to create your account, enrol you, and get in touch about your courses.
What your browser sends
Your IP address, browser and device type, and which pages you visited. This is standard web-server information. We use it to keep the site working and to spot abuse — not to build a profile of you.
How we use it
We only keep information that does a job. Specifically:
- Running your coursesSaving your progress, quiz results and certificates, and showing you where you left off.
- Talking to youSending enrolment confirmations, receipts, course updates, and replies when you contact us.
- Keeping accounts safeDetecting unauthorised access and protecting the platform from abuse.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Your name on public pages
To show prospective students that real people study here, we display the first name only of existing members alongside the membership tier they hold — for example “Fatima is learning with Talib” — on our homepage and membership pages.
What we show
Your first name and your membership tier.
What we never show
Your surname, email, country, payment details, or when you joined.
You can ask us to stop displaying your name at any time, for any reason, and it costs you nothing — your membership and access are entirely unaffected. Email [email protected] and we will remove it promptly.
How we protect it
Traffic between your device and our servers is encrypted with TLS. Stored data is encrypted at rest, passwords are hashed, and payments are handled by Stripe — we never see or store your card number.
No system is completely secure, and we would rather say so than promise otherwise. If we ever discover a breach affecting your information, we will tell you.
Your rights
Wherever you live, you can ask us to:
- See your dataGet a copy of everything we hold about you.
- Correct itFix anything that is wrong or out of date.
- Delete itClose your account and remove your personal information. You can start this yourself from your account settings.
- Take it with youReceive your data in a portable format.
We handle requests in line with the GDPR and CCPA, and we apply the same standard to everyone regardless of where they are. To make a request, email us — there is no form to fill in.
You can also request account deletion directly.
